Barnes & Noble Inc. (NYSE:BKS) is set to launch Angry Birds “Magic Places” for NOOK Color customers.
The world’s largest book seller Barnes & Noble Inc. (NYSE:BKS) has announced that it is going to offer the best selling game Angry Birds “Magic Places” to its Nook Color customers.

The company is the first official Real World location for “Magic Places”, which will be available through more than 700 bookstores.

Barnes & Noble Inc. (NYSE:BKS)’s president of digital products Jamie Iannone said, “We’ve already experienced great success with NOOK Apps and Angry Birds as our bestseller, and believe NOOK Color customers will enjoy being the first in the world to access Angry Birds ‘Magic Places.’ We invite all Angry Birds fans to visit our in-store NOOK Boutiques to try this fun experience on one of our many NOOK Color demonstration units”.

Barnes & Noble Inc. (NYSE:BKS) is offering 30 free NOOK books to customers who upgrade to a new ereader.
The largest book seller Barnes & Noble Inc. (NYSE:BKS) is offering 30 free NOOK books, worth $315, to customers who bring in an old eReader and purchase any NOOK device as part of the NOOK upgrade program.

The customers will receive a 2GB micro SD card with the NOOK free books including some cooking, classic and reference titles.

Jamie Iannone, Barnes & Noble Inc. (NYSE:BKS)’s president of digital products, said, “We invite reading lovers to visit their neighborhood Barnes & Noble Inc. (NYSE:BKS) bookstore to see, hold and touch our innovative NOOK products and encourage them to upgrade their reading experience while kicking off their collection with a limited-time bonus of 30 free NOOK Books”.
