According to reports from a person familiar with the matter, Vodafone Group plc (LON:VOD) sees the proposed ceiling from Vivendi SA of 6 billion pounds for its SFR stake as too low.
Another person reported that Vivendi is not ready to give anything more to Vodafone Group plc (LON:VOD).
Claudio Aspesi, an analyst at Sanford C. Bernstein in London said that, “Both sides need to figure out a way to give the other side a bit of a win.”
