Sprint Nextel (NYSE:S) has entered into a mobile virtual network operator accord with Kentucky-based Lightyear Network Solutions Inc.

Sprint Nextel (NYSE:S) has entered into a five-year deal which lets the Louisville data and wireless telecommunication services provider Lightyear work with Sprint (NYSE: S) on new wireless products, including prepaid and postpaid mobile phones.

The deal will also give Lightyear the right to use Sprint Nextel’s (NYSE:S) nationwide network.

Sprint Nextel (NYSE:S) shares were at 5.34 at the end of the last day’s trading. There’s been a 16.8% change in the stock price over the past 3 months.
