Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc (LON:RBS) will reveal this week that 300 senior staff received pay packages averaging £1 million each last year.
Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc (LON:RBS), 83 per cent owned by the taxpayer, will set out the figures when it its annual report is released on Thursday. It is the first time the bank will have had to publish the pay of its senior staff in line with a new code on remuneration from the Financial Services Authority and the “Project Merlin” agreement with the government.
