Waltham, Massachusetts, based American defense contractor and Industrial Corporation with core manufacturing concentrations in weapons and military and commercial electronics, Raytheon (NYSE:RTN), has reportedly completed initial testing of its first interoperable communications system in Rock County ahead of the schedule.

Mike Prout, vice president of Security and Transportation Systems for Raytheon (NYSE:RTN)’s Network Centric Systems business, said, “Raytheon (NYSE:RTN) designs and manufactures an integrated solution that optimizes existing architecture as an independent, yet interoperable LMR system at a highly affordable cost. By providing a solution for multiple end-users leveraging existing legacy systems, Raytheon (NYSE:RTN) can meet our customers’ needs today while enabling them to grow into the future.”
