Pfizer (NYSE:PFE) has entered into a framework agreement with Zhejiang Hisun Pharmaceutical.

Pfizer Signing China Deal

Under this new deal, Chinese based Zhejiang Hisun Pharmaceutical and Pfizer (NYSE:PFE) will establish a new joint venture to develop, manufacture and commercialize off-patent pharmaceutical products in China and global markets.

According to the framework agreement, the potential joint venture will be named “Hisun Pfizer Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd”.

This new partnership is expected to strengthen the ability of both Pfizer (NYSE:PFE) and Zhejiang Hisun Pharmaceutical to reach more patients with high-quality medicines in the branded generics arena.
