Northrop Grumman (NYSE:NOC) has received a new LAIRCM deal from the US Air Force.

Under this new deal worth $334 million, the defense contract giant Northrop Grumman (NYSE:NOC) will provide Large Aircraft Infrared Countermeasure (LAIRCM) systems and support for the Air Force.

Carl Smith, vice president of infrared countermeasures programs at Northrop Grumman (NYSE:NOC)’s Land and Self Protection Systems Division said, “Aircraft survivability equipment is essential to protecting our warfighting customers serving abroad. This latest award is a continuation of our long term relationship with the U.S. Air Force and further demonstrates confidence in our battle proven AN/AAQ-24(v) LAIRCM system.”

Northrop Grumman (NYSE:NOC) shares were at 60.57 at the end of the last day’s trading. There’s been a 3.6% change in the stock price over the past 3 months.
