Nokia Corp. (NYSE:NOK) Siemens Networks has hired a new head to Customer Operations Americas.

Nokia Corp. (NYSE:NOK) announced that Nokia Siemens Networks, the joint venture between Nokia of Finland and Siemens of Germany, has appointed Ken Wirth as head of Customer Operations Americas.

In the new position Wirth will be responsible for Nokia Corp. (NYSE:NOK) Siemens Networks’ sales throughout the Americas and will be a member of company Executive Board.

Rajeev Suri, Nokia Corp. (NYSE:NOK) Siemens Networks, chief executive officer, said that “Ken is an ideal addition to the Nokia Corp. (NYSE:NOK) Siemens Networks team at a time when we are seeing increasing market recognition of our technological strength, and strong momentum in our LTE sales. I look forward to him joining us during this key period of mobile broadband evolution”.
