Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) has teamed up with CGC to bring consumer hardware and software to Qatar.

Reports say that Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) has partnered with Consolidated Gulf Co. (CGC) to offer consumer IT software and hardware products across Qatar.

Under this deal CGC will make Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) Office 2010 and Windows 7 available in the country market.

Naim Yazbeck, General Manager, Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) Qatar, said that, “Our continuous partnership with CGC to bring our consumers in Qatar the latest Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) products is something we are very proud of. Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) sees tremendous potential for technology to transform the lives of people, to increase business aptitude, to improve government effectiveness and to bring about positive change across society and believe that this partnership will help improve access and uptake of the latest products”.

Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ:MSFT) shares were at 32.11 at the end of the last day’s trading. There’s been a 8.9% movement in the stock price over the past 3 months.
