Intel (NASDAQ:INTC) hs said it is set to make 100 Thunderbolt based peripherals available by this year end.

Santa Clara, California-based chip maker, Intel (NASDAQ:INTC), is reportedly targeting the manufacture of 100 Thunderbolt devices by this year end.

Corporate vice president and general manager of Intel (NASDAQ:INTC)’s PC Client Group, Kirk Skaugen, said, “We have 21 Thunderbolt devices in things like storage and displays in the marketplace. We have a hundred targeted by the end of the year, and hundreds of Thunderbolt devices targeted by the middle or end of next year.”
