Hewlett-Packard (NYSE:HPQ) has been chosen to provide a new cloud solution to VIVA in Kuwait.

Hewlett-Packard (NYSE:HPQ) has announced that VIVA, Kuwait’s advanced mobile telecoms provider, is deploying a private cloud solution from HP to transform its customers’ communication, information and entertainment experiences.

Hewlett-Packard (NYSE:HPQ) CloudSystem Matrix will make VIVA’s IT services, applications, servers, storage, and networks flexible, dynamic, and available on-demand.

Santiago Cortes, Vice President and Managing Director, Hewlett-Packard (NYSE:HPQ), Middle East, Mediterranean and Africa, said that, “VIVA has been quick to recognise the cloud’s advantages in speeding innovation, accelerating business processes and reducing time to revenue.Cloud computing is the best way to boost efficiency, improve service delivery and cut costs. The Hewlett-Packard (NYSE:HPQ) CloudSystem Matrix platform will allow VIVA to evolve to a hybrid service delivery model that unifies the control and delivery of cloud assets, whether their provenance is VIVA’s own data center, an Hewlett-Packard (NYSE:HPQ) -hosted cloud or an external source”.
