Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) and Mazda Motor have announced an additional investment to their AutoAlliance in Thailand.

As a part of the move to upgrade production equipment and increase utility production capacity by 20,000 units per year, the US based Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) and Mazda Motor are jointly investing about $27 million in their AutoAlliance (Thailand) (AAT) joint venture.

Peter Fleet, president, Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) ASEAN said, “This new investment reinforces Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F)’s long-term commitment to Thailand as a global production and export hub, and will allow us to meet the extraordinary demand for the all-new Ranger.”
