Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) has started a new C-Max advertising campaign to challenge Toyota’s Prius.

The second largest US automaker Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) has started an advertising campaign for its first hybrid only C-Max wagon on Thursday.

The animated ad campaign claims that the C-Max delivers better fuel mileage and more power than Toyota’s Prius.

Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F)’ global marketing chief Jim Farley said, “When you’re a challenger brand like we are, you have to break through with your message to get noticed. Two-D animation is not something you’re used to seeing. It’s to get people’s attention to say, ‘There’s something new’”.

Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) shares were at 10.11 at the end of the last day’s trading. There’s been a 3.5% change in the stock price over the past 3 months.
