Maurice Thompson has been named as Citigroup Inc. (NYSE:C)’s UK operation’s head.

The US based banking giant Citigroup Inc. (NYSE:C) has appointed Maurice Thompson to head its UK operations.

The company also named him as the banking vice chairman of the region.

Thompson has held various positions in the bank and was recently the chairman of the public sector group for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.

Andres Recorder was also named as Citigroup Inc. (NYSE:C)’s head of markets for EMEA region. He was previously the head of sales for markets at Citigroup Inc. (NYSE:C) in the region.
