BP plc (NYSE:BP) has again forced to move the start date for production from its Scarv project.

The UK based oil giant BP plc (NYSE:BP) has said that the start date for production from its giant Scarv production and storage vessel in the Norwegian Sea has been shifted to the fourth quarter of this year, from the second quarter.

A BP plc (NYSE:BP) spokesman said, “Throughout the winter season, the Skarv Unit kept the riser installation vessel at the field, in order to be able to utilize any period of favorable weather for the riser installation program. There have been no suitable breaks in the weather between November and March, due to a particularly poor winter.”

BP plc (NYSE:BP) stocks were at 43.29 at the end of the last day’s trading. There’s been a -3.3% change in the stock price over the past 3 months.
