BP plc (NYSE:BP) is all set to begin the restoration of all spill-affected states, except Texas.

London based multinational oil company and world’s fourth largest company based on revenue, BP plc (NYSE:BP), has decided to restore all natural resources in every Gulf Coast state except Texas, which were affected by the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in 2010.

It has been reported that the restoration project will cost BP plc (NYSE:BP) a sum of $60 million.

Don Pitts, a director of the environmental assessment response and restoration program with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, has said that BP plc (NYSE:BP) is not ignoring Texas, but they are assessing 172 proposals to improve the coastline in the state.

BP plc (NYSE:BP) shares were at 43.53 at the end of the last day’s trading. There’s been a -0.4% change in the stock price over the past 3 months.
